An Intro to the Spike & Fluff Bunch
An Introduction to the Spike & Fluff Bunch
I’m going to introduce you to some of the main pets I will be referring to in the future. There are plenty of others that will be featured, but for now let’s meet the stars. I will start with the oldest and work my way down the list.
Alfie: This boy is a yorkie poo who is eight years old. I’m going to be honest with y’all, he’s kind of an asshole, but he is my baby boy. Alfie spends every second glued to my side, and when I’m not home waits by the door. He has a nasty habit of peeing on anything he can reach. He especially loves everyones shoes, except for mine. Aside from that he really is a sweet boy. He loves popcorn the most, in fact one day I left the room and he helped himself to my bowl. I should’ve known he was planning something given that he didn’t follow me out. Along with popcorn he loves stuffed animals, and is very partial to stuffed animals that are food. His favorite being a stuffed carrot.
Finnigan: Finnigan is a bichon frise and shih tzu mix who is five years old. He is a weirdog that’s for sure. While Alfie pees on things to be an asshole, Finnigan tries to pee in the house, just because he doesn’t like the outdoors. What kind of dog doesn’t like the outdoors? He also perches on the back of furniture, and finds himself in the weirdest positions. I’m pretty sure he’s a cat. He isn’t a big toy guy, but loves to hoard them just to piss off his little brother and cousin. He is definitely a little instigator under all that fluff. Don’t let his innocent face and fru fru tail fool you. He is one sneaky boy.
Avery: Avery is my niece. She is a goldador and is a year old. She has two moods, and they are sweet, and mischievous. She has the sweetest look, and can fool just about anyone, but in seconds she’ll be up to no good. Whether it’s digging holes, tearing up her brother’s stuffed animals, or sneaking bites of her cousins food. She’ll do it all with a smile on her face, and not a care in the world. I mean she literally smiles, lip curl and all. She is definitely not afraid to demand what she wants. Belly rubs call for her to collapse literally into your lap, and games of fetch consist of barking when you take too long to throw.
Fisher: Fish is a very special boy. He is Avery’s litter mate, and where she’s all mischievous he’s all weirdness. From pouting to sitting like a human, there is no way he’s a dog. When he doesn’t get his way he literally pouts, face in the couch cushions for a whole ten seconds until he forgets why he’s pouting. It’s usually over not throwing a tennis ball. While Avery demands, Fisher just pouts. Along with pouting he also likes to sit pretty at all times, he rarely puts his front paws on the ground. He loves stuffed animals, wrestling with Avery, and chasing laser pointers. While Avery is too proper to try and bite the laser, Fisher will repeatedly try and eat the wall, floor, or door in order to capture wherever it is. He is definitely an oddball who is terrified of the next pet.
Newt: Newt is an African Pygmy Hedgehog who is 10 months old. He is a very sweet and curious boy. I definitely hit the hedgehog lottery with him. He’s named after the Potterverse character, if that weren’t obvious, and the name for sure suits him. He loves running, and cuddles more than anything in the world. He also enjoys having his face pet starting right between his eyes and pushing up. He is definitely an interesting and fun pet to have. He has a very good relationship with the other pets, and is not afraid of them, but Fisher is terrified of him. Fisher will run and hide if Newt enters a room. I sometimes wonder if Newt knows what’s going on and takes pride in it, but hedgehogs are harder to read than dogs.
Well that’s all the pets. I plan to post every Sunday and will take questions and suggestions into consideration. I would love to share tips, as well as all the funny stories and weird things that these guys do. They are a weird bunch of very different personalities for sure.
